How can I update the Artist name on an existing Object record? – ArtBinder

There are two ways you might go about updating the Artist name depending on if the name already exists in ArtBinder or not.

1. If the Artist name exists in ArtBinder:

Locate the Object
Select the pencil iconto associate a different Artist name

2. If the Artist name does not exists in ArtBinder:

First, create a new Artist

Then, locate the Object
Select the pencil iconto associate a new Artist name

If you need to change the Artist name for all Objects associated to the same name, select the hyperlinked artist name and make edits on the Artist profile. Changes will permanently apply to all associated Objects.
